Custom Hotrod Lambretta Li Series 2 125 with Quattrini 210 – Monday 21st October
Right up my street this one, a hotrod inspired scooter full of custom touches and frame modifications to give an American hotrod inspired scooter. Some are immediately noticeable and some more require a second look. The front end features an LD turning mudguard and an LD inside leg shield toolbox has been welded to the legshield to house a battery and gauges. The headset top has also been modified to accept a large smiths style speedo, if you move towards the rear of the scooter you should pick up on the rear lights which have been sunk into the frame and the vented toolbox door which has been frenched into the frame. Did you notice that the rear frame grill and frame section have been modified to give a longer flowed appearance to the frame? and how about the vented side panels?
The paintwork on this thing is simply incredible, a great job was done by Hobnobs Race Paints and no matter the lighting this scooter pops at every angle you look at it! Finished in a deep red and black with a heavy flake and the 5 9 cards painted on the panel as a nod to the scooters year this is the perfect subtle hotrod. The scooter comes with both a single saddle and a more traditional bench seat depending on the riders preference.
The engine is a very well built Quattrini M-210 with an Avanti ST exhaust so this scooter has the power and the sound to perfectly match it’s appearance.
We will be taking this stunner with us to Llandudno so come and say hello!
