1962 Lambretta LI 150 – Quattrini 218 Custom Build

This 1962 Spanish-import Lambretta LI 150 retains its original paint, professionally treated with corrosion sealer to preserve its vintage character while benefiting from a full performance overhaul.

Under the side panels sits a Quattrini 218 engine, built around a Darryl Taylor Tuning long-stroke crankshaft, breathing through a CNC inlet manifold and a Mikuni TMX 35mm carb. Power is transmitted through an AF Clo5e ratio 5-speed gearbox, paired with a CASA cush drive and an LTH clutch & chain tensioner for bulletproof reliability.

A Vape ignition system ensures rock-solid starting and smooth running, while the custom Taylor Tuning exhaust unleashes a deep, punchy tone. All internals are brand new – bearings, seals, layshaft, and a heavy-duty IWIS chain – making this a box fresh performance motor which is yet to be run in.

The ride is dialed in with new CASA fork springs, rods, and links, BGM front dampers, and a Readspeed rear shock, giving this classic scoot modern handling to match its power. A sidestand conversion adds convenience, and stopping power comes from a new CASA disc brake.

Topped off with a one-off seat by Corky, a Scootronics multifunction speedo, all-new cables and wiring harness, and an OilTek long-range fuel tank
