1970 Lambretta GP 200 – Mugello 250 Custom Build

Originally UK-registered in Cambridgeshire, this iconic 1970 Lambretta GP 200 has had just three owners from new. It spent nearly 50 years with its first owner before being acquired by Trevor of Cambridge Lambretta, a renowned specialist in the scene. Trevor carried out a full, meticulous restoration and transformed the scooter into a high-performance custom build, using only top-tier components.

At its heart is an Ultimate PT Works Mugello 250 engine, paired with a Gori GP50 exhaust and Avanti end can for a deep, punchy tone. Performance upgrades include a PT Works 7-plate clutch, 62mm stroke crankshaft, LTH carb manifold, and a Dellorto VHST powerjet carb. A mapped ignition system ensures responsive power delivery throughout the rev range.

This was Trevor’s personal scooter, built without compromise.

Additional features include a long-range fuel tank for extended rides and a Scoots ‘n’ Soul custom seat for comfort and style.
