Lambretta LiS 150 with High Spec Mugello 225 Ultimate 5 Speed Engine – Thursday 3rd October
This absolutely gorgeous scooter started life as a humble Li 150 Special, purchased as an Italian import in 2012 and lovingly restored and dressed as an SX200 replica it has been in the same ownership since then and the guys attention to detail is second to none.
The bodywork on this scooter is fantastic and i’m not sure i’ve ever seen one with better fitting panels, it’s an older paint job but presents really well, finished off with lots of nice touches and upgrades including the lucas pathfinder lights, led front & rear lights, inboard reverse pull front disc brake and the handlebar mounted stadium mirror it has a lovely period look to it.
The engine is a 200 block which has been fitted with a Mugello 225 Ultimate cylinder kit, 5 speed gearbox, Dellorto PHBH 28mm carb and a Franspeed exhaust. This thing has the lightest clutch and smoothest gear change matched with the BGM front and rear shock and AF tubeless rims it really is a treat to ride.
