Original Paint 1977 Vespa Rally 200 in China Blue – Monday 18th November
Something very Special here is a genuine original condition Vespa Rally 200. The engine was rebuilt in 2021 by Stefan Manoli, please read the full history of the scooter below. 1976 manufactured model which was sold in Glasgow by The Scooter Centre, 296 Great Western Road 18th April 1977.
The original owner, a VCB member used the scooter until 1981 when it was taken off the road with just 1,754 miles on the clock. Unfortunately the gentleman owner passed away and at some point it was then moved down to the original owners sisters house in St Neots. It remained here until 2008 when it was purchased by another VCB member from the Luton area.
The Rally was then used on a tour of France in 2010/11 and was then sold on to another chap from Luton who used the scooter up until 2018 when it was then sold with 7,275 miles on the clock. In January 2021 the engine underwent a full rebuild by Stefan Manoli. Keeping the original Femsatronic ignition system.
The scooter is now on 8,896 miles and amazingly still has the original seat and number plate fitted! This is a very rare opportunity to own a piece of scootering history.
