1963 Lambretta Li Special Mugello 186 – One of the very first off the production line

The Li Special was introduced in late 1963 and was designed to meet the demand for faster scooters, with the TV styling but smaller capacity engine it bridged the gap between the standard Li and the premium TV model. Up for grabs this week is a very early example of the Li 150 Special, with the frame prefix starting 150LIS200 this is number 439 off the production line.

Beautiful nut & bolt restoration with paintwork from Paul Bullivant at Retro Ride Paint Shop, rebuilt using the highest quality parts with new loom and cables throughout, the scooter comes with the Italian and UK paperwork and is ready for the summer.

Engine is a high standard build Mugello 186 with a 28mm Dellorto PHBH carb and scootopia clubman exhaust, well equipped for modern road conditions.
