Conservatively Restored 1980s Vespa Smallframe ‘Wrangler’ Racer

Keeping with the OG theme this week we’ve gone for something cooler than a polar bears toenails, this 1978 Vespa 125 Primavera is a 1980s race track survivor!

UK registered and ready to ride on the road, the bodywork is an SS90 replica and is still sporting it’s original race colours in this ‘Wrangler’ jeans theme, a proper piece of history from the track days

Purchased in early 2024 this scooter has undergone a conservative restoration featuring a new BGM wiring loom, cables, tyres and the front end rebuilt.

Engine wise this tasty little motor is a 130cc Polini Cylinder with the GS piston pushing it out to a 135cc, running a VMC exhaust, VMC ignition and a 24mm PHBL carb, completely rebuilt with new bearings and seals and recently set up on the dyno so ready for the new owner to let rip!
