Vespa PX200E 1983 Crossover Model Restored By Rich Tyler – Malossi 210cc

Well, what can I say about this scooter? This is simply one of the best Vespa PX restorations I’ve seen for a long while.
A genuine Italian VSX1T this scooter was a late 90s Italian import which was left laying around unregistered for years.
Picked up by the awarding winning Vespa restoration master Rich Tyler in Birmingham. This scooter has had a complete bare metal restoration, I’ve included some of the build photos so you can see the attention to detail Rich puts into his builds.
The scooter has been painted in Azzurro Fiordo and it’s simply stunning all round, the quality of workmanship on this scooter is second to none.
This is a 1983 model often referred as the crossover model PX. As such it features the P200 looks but benefits from the 20mm forks, under seat panel locks, autolube engine and later type handlebar switches.
On to the engine, it is the original autolube engine which has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. It’s so clean you could eat your dinner off it.
The scooter has been fitted with a Malossi 210 sport cylinder kit, BGM touring crankshaft, fast flow Si 26 carburettor and Sip Road 2 exhaust.
